How PRP Enhances Microneedling Results

To enhance microneedling’s benefits and accelerate the healing and rejuvenation process, PRP (platelet-rich plasma) microneedling can be performed. PRP is a concentrate of platelet-rich plasma protein, obtained from the patient’s blood after spinning a small blood sample in a centrifuge to isolate it. PRP is injected into the treated, microneedled facial tissue (virtually painlessly after applying numbing cream) because it contains special proteins supporting new cell growth and promoting healing.

What PRP Microneedling Treats

PRP microneedling can be performed on all skin types and tones with little or no downtime. The treatment improves skin tone and texture, softens and smooths fine lines and wrinkles, reduces pore size, improves the appearance of scars (including acne scars), and treats sun damage and hyperpigmentation. The procedure can be combined with other aesthetic treatments, such as BOTOX®, fillers, chemical peels, radiofrequency therapy, and laser skin resurfacing.

PRP microneedling is a powerful technique for creating fresh, vibrant, beautiful skin and a youthful appearance on the face.
